What this site collects
A Montrealer Abroad uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics service. It records aggregate data about visits (which pages are read, roughly where in the world the visitor is, what device and browser they used, and which site referred them). It does not set cookies, does not track individuals across sites, and does not sell or share data with third parties.
If you submit a comment or contact me by email, your name and email address are stored only so I can reply to you. They are never shared.
Cookies
This site itself does not set any cookies. Embedded third-party content (for example a YouTube video or a map) may set cookies through the third party. You can block these through your browser settings if you prefer.
Affiliate links
Some posts contain affiliate links to booking platforms or product retailers. If you click through and make a purchase, this site earns a small commission at no extra cost to you. These links never affect what I recommend.
Your rights
If you would like a copy of any data I hold about you, or want it deleted, send me a note via the contact page and I will sort it out.
