For freelancers like me, and, oddly enough, for a pretty big bunch of people, time is money. Big money. Therefore, these precious 24 hours we are given each day need to be invested wisely, and efficiently. Which means that I get very little “free” time where I can simply sit back and do whatever I want.
One thing I do take time for, however, is my daily read-through the newest additions to AFAR Magazine. There are very little things in life that make me happier than learning about a quirky café or a delicious restaurant that have been tested and approved by locals or travelers – and AFAR does just that.
I’ve been adding my own highlights and wanderlists for a few months now, and guess what? I’ve been promoted to ambassador!
What does it mean?
Simply put, it means that I will help spread the word about AFAR Magazine, my favorite place around the world, work within an amazing team of like-minded travelers, and curate quality content on their website. Pretty neat, right!
It is a true honor to work with a magazine that won the Lowell Thomas Award for the Best Travel Magazine from the Society of American Travel Writers two of the past three years, and that wants to promote conscious, authentic experiences around the world.
